Discovered as a 16 year old by legendary Jazzman James Morrison, Emma Pask has performed all over the world, from Queen Elizabeth Hall in London with BBC Concert Orchestra, to China with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, and a little more closer to home, gracing the stage at the Sydney Opera House with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Having just celebrated 20 years of musical collaborations with Morrison, Pask is set to release her fifth studio album, Cosita Divina this year on Friday September 25 at Art and About Sydney.
This self-funded and self-produced album explores her love for the Latin-jazz crossover, combing Spanish, Portuguese and English vocals. Taking her fans on a musical journey accompanied by some tender string moments that would be highlighted on a Beatlesclassic.
